Human Social Cultural Behavioral Program Support - #WG-10-0069
Program: Walsingham Group is seeking experienced Professionals for HSCB and Human Factors Program Support for DOD
and Other Government Agencies. Both CONUS and OCONUS based support positions are available. The Human Terrain
System (HTS) Program is designed to dramatically improve the methods, tools and means to understand a foreign populace
and its cultural dynamics (specifically in Afghanistan and Iraq), and to offer socio-cultural expertise to U.S. command
personnel and agency decision makers.

Description:
>>Conduct Cultural Operations Research in support of the Human Terrain System and collaborative efforts.
>>Develop new methods for data collection and analysis.
>>Perform HSCB Data Collection and Integration.
>>Advise operational force on Human Terrain (current operating picture, trends, and seams).
>>Analyze data from a variety of sources operating in theatre (e.g. conventional military patrols, non-governmental
organizations, international organizations, Civil Affairs units, and Special Forces).
>>Assist in collecting and organizing Socio-cultural data into the HTT Toolkit.
>>Assemble data into written briefs to be delivered for operational awareness.
>>Provides expert analysis and research support for the government.
>>Applies social/anthropological/behavioral concepts and methodologies in conduct of geospatial intelligence analysis.
>>Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of
classified/unclassified and open source information.
>>Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.
>>Must be prepared to develop new and innovative products in support of the customer.


Requirements:
>>Operational Team Leaders - Experience as a principal on a brigade level staff desired.
>>Operational Team Leaders - Highly desired candidates will be Special Forces officers, Civil Affairs officers, or prior
OIF/OEF HTT or PRT experience with appropriate regional expertise and security clearance.
>>Subject Matter Experts - Expertise in cultural anthropology, sociology, political science, international relations or a related
discipline.
>>Principal Social Scientist - Requires a PhD or PhD (ABD); Discipline in the following cultural anthropology, sociology,
political science, international relations or related.
>>Secondary Social Scientist - Requires a master's, PhD (ABD Acceptable); Discipline in the following cultural anthropology,
sociology, political science, international relations or related.
>>Outstanding verbal and written communications and familiarity with MS Office tools.
>>Working knowledge of intelligence databases and geospatial products is desired.
>>US Citizenship.
>>Security clearance or ability to qualify for a security clearance up to TS/SCI
>>Fluency in Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Dari, and other relevant languages are highly desirable
